GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The role of the Business Systems Analyst is to provide technical support for our enterprise systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functional and Technical Skills

Daily system support and issue management of the ERP (IFS) and other enterprise systems working with team members and business users. Design and document technical system solutions, and challenges and advised business teams, and delve into expectations thus ensuring success for all parties. Develop configuration knowledge and technical skills to leverage configuration features to limit custom code. Utilize basic PL/SQL skills to perform system analysis to resolve simple to medium in complexity support issues. Develop and maintain IT documentation for implemented configurations and processes. Participate in ERP upgrades and implementations by coordinating testing and training with business users; configuring the system as required and performing regression testing. Record very detailed notes on processes and tasks to support testing and training documentation.

Customer Interaction/Management/Support

Understand and assists the business to define and document business requirements and provide guidance in the most effective usage of technology solutions and standard business processes. Conduct end-user testing and training.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, Computer Science (CSci) or related

Experience:

2+ years of business systems analyst or related experience1+ years of experience using PL/SQL or SQL2+years of ERP experience preferably IFS1+years of experience maintaining and configuring enterprise systemsExperience writing specifications, configuring applications, conducting training, creating documentation

*6+ years or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred:

Experience working in IT for a manufacturing company

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong communication abilities with good customer-facing skills. Communicates clearly and concisely Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to devise solutions to problems Understanding of RDBMS (Oracle) or other relational databases

Loram determines compensation based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. Certain positions may be eligible for an annual bonus and paid time off in addition to base compensation.

Starting pay for the position is between $66,000 - $82,000.
