Job Description This team is regression testing the investments in Excel via Macros that are already created. They will be ensuring the investment change into the software are moved correctly into a sandbox before going live and onboarding. They help with projects like LIBOR changes, migrating systems to cloud and changing from one system to another (previously Wall Street to Symcorp). Use of this job is restricted to the Ent Finance business line. Consultant to Business Line and enterprise functions on matters related to financial analysis and reporting, forecasting analysis of key financial metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviews. Responsible for providing moderate to complex financial analysis in support of management decision-making for a business unit or enterprise functions. Responsible for creation, analysis and communication of various activities such as product pricing, product & portfolio performance, key metrics forecasting, closing analysis and validation, Project Analysis, Marketing Support, Capacity planning, Incentive plan support, various financial viability assessment related to M&A activities. Supports all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as management financial reporting (both standard and adhoc) to support monthly and quarterly forecasting, balance sheet analysis as well as stress testing and resolution planning scenarios for all business units and enterprise functional areas. Establishes and maintains effective & efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards. Supports implementation of moderate to complex projects/initiatives. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported area. 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment Want someone to come in to run different testing efforts. Queuing and testing version that doesn't plan on hitting production. This is moving their systems to the cloud. Running a full regression cycle against it for 2 months. This team is upgrades or projects. Will be doing a lot of regression testing. 2 sets of files with Excel tool to do comparison (won't just use spreadsheet and not make changes). Know accrued interest or bond structures are a plus. Mostly want regression testing file comparison in accounting, reconciliation as they are comparing two files. No underwriting. Steep learning curve with the system. Won't pick it apart in SimCorp system. Regression testing - has a test library with 100 plus test scripts. some are detailed and some are hard to get through. Most scripts are for reports and interfaces that are straight forward. The last 2 years has a spreadsheet with a matrix of test scripts and set up procedure for spreadsheet. Locate the file in question, copy to a local drive, record location and has a key with unique identifier. Once the fields are added in, you go in an execute and compare both files. Some files compare 20 seconds up to an hour when it's done it will give you a summary of how many breaks and breaks in the row. Then troubleshoot key is set up right, add a value, or exclude field running off two different systems. Once file is done and true breaks are identified, typically they will get in system and see cause of the break but not be 100% but realize the defect. Skills finance, financial analysis, testing quality assurance, systems testing, symcor, wallstreet, debit & credit, software testing, business analysis, project management, accounting, financial services, securities, investments, regression testing Additional Skills & Qualifications - 3 years Accounting, Business Analyst, PM, Business Systems Analyst or Financial Analyst Experience with - Prefer 1 year of supporting a change or implementation of a system or migrating from one system to another. . - System or Regression testing of a new software. - 6 mo. securities, fund, investment, stock, bond or other investment experience is nice but not needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $43.50/hr. Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Minneapolis,MN.
