Purpose:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is part of the Patient Service Center Implementation team. The BSA is responsible for managing the build and implementation of new integrated technology systems as well as enhancements to existing systems. This role will define system requirements, partake in solution design and build, develop testing plans, create testing scripts, workflow management and own the testing and system implementation processes while working collaboratively with the stakeholders. This person should be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work within a team environment and independently. The ideal candidate is well versed in IT program operations, integrated technology releases both new and enhancements and has exposure to HUB workflows.
Responsibilities:
+ Drive project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines that support business objectives in collaboration with senior leadership, business and technical stakeholders.
+ Understand business needs and translate them into system requirements.
+ Communicate impact and recommendations to stakeholders.
+ Identify system problems, explore potential solutions, design and implement solutions.
+ Lead system and data validation efforts, requirements gathering, and including point-to-point and end-to-end scenario testing.
+ Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand user needs to propose system solutions, create real scenarios for testing and complete signoff
+ Coordinate technology releases including testing activities with stakeholders to ensure successful launch of projects
+ Test case development for a variety of technology solutions
+ Review operational requests, develop project requirements, coordinate product development and implementation in a timely manner.
+ In conjunction with OPS review the impact of the solutions on workflow
+ Provide training guidance and operational support with technology enhancements.
+ Conduct post-implementation retrospect, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for future enhancements.
+ Partner with project managers to ensure milestones are met.
+ Lead the development of project documentation and ensure implementation milestones and deliverables are met.
+ Promote and cultivate meaningful and professional interactions among team members
+ Develop a deep knowledge of HUB workflows and operational processes
+ Supports implementation and testing activities across the team to ensure successful launch of projects
**Qualifications**
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor degree or relevant experience
+ 3+ years of experience developing healthcare workflow solutions
+ Previous experience in system releases and testing
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet goals
+ Ability to collaborate on solutions with stakeholders
+ Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
+ Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in specialty pharmacy and/or HUB services
+ Experience with project management
+ Salesforce and telephony experience a plus
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employee’s home address listed in their employment file. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. When telecommuting employees must have reliable internet access in order to access required systems and software associated with the position's responsibilities. The amount of time the employee is expected to work per day or pay period will not change as a result of participation in the teleworking program. Employees are responsible for the set-up of
their home office environment, including physical set-up, internet connection, phone line, electricity, good lighting, comfortable temperature, furniture, etc. Employee’s teleworking space should be separate and distinct from their “home space” and allow for privacy.
