Your Day to Day
As a Business Systems Analyst on our team, you would be working on:
Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and document business needs, translating them into functional and technical requirements.
Designing workflows and systems to optimize processes, ensuring alignment with team goals and business objectives.
Acting as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Partnering with developers, such as Java Backend/Full Stack Developers, to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.
Leveraging data analytics tools to assess system performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
Providing actionable insights through custom reports and dashboards tailored to the team’s needs.
Contributing to and maintaining the team’s knowledge base, including process documentation, training materials, and best practices.
Supporting retrospectives and other continuous improvement initiatives to share learnings across the team.
What We’re Looking For
As a Business Systems Analyst, your background will look like this:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related role.
Strong understanding of software development processes, including Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with technologies and tools such as Java-based applications, content management systems (e.g., Brightspot), and modern JavaScript.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Clear and concise communication in English, with experience in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
