Business Systems Analyst II

The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for production support and maintenance of our global enterprise applications.

They work with the business, technical staff, department team members, and vendors (application vendors and others) to triage and resolve reported production issues/updates.  They will work assigned support tickets to gather business requirements, understand business processes, and provide resolutions that align with the business needs. 

They support many aspects of delivery inclusive of analysis, requirements, testing, deployment and support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Respond to all incoming requests in a timely manner, ensuring that all issues/requests logged in the appropriate system and/or are resolved within SLA.Collaborate with other cross application teams to resolve production issues in accordance with established service levels.Support preparation and execution of testing efforts.Support deployment and migration efforts.Establish and maintain product and business expertise of assigned areas, this includes participation in knowledge transfer sessions to learn new functionality, reviewing documentation and making updates to existing processes and procedures.Partner with technical staff and vendors to ensure that the technical components of solutions are understood and properly accounted for (e.g. integrations, extensions, etc.) within the overall solution.Provide updates and report status to management, business users and other interested parties that are involved with or may be affected by a given production support issue.Support ad hoc requests such as data extraction, building queries and filters, analysis and reporting on data to present findings to management and business users.Demonstrate ability to learn and support the end-to-end business process flows.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

4+ years’ experience in Production Support.  Inclusive of gathering functional requirements, preparing documentation, and providing system support of applications.BA /BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent.Experience with business applications such as PeopleSoft is highly desired.Demonstrate openness/aptitude for learning new applications and tools. Proficiency in use of software such as MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, etc. Ability to interact with customers of varying levels within the organization.Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities and execute against tight deadlines.Ability to demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.Ability to identify solutions to problems, listen actively, exercise sound judgment and use logic to make decisions.High level of attention to detail and accuracy.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.

$74,000.00 - $109,000.00
