Business Systems Analyst Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** + Join NAVSEA 03S as the lead Business Systems Analyst for the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES) at Washington Navy Yard (WNY) + Play a crucial role in analyzing and improving business processes for naval ship and submarine maintenance operations, with a focus on WNY-specific requirements + Bridge the gap between IT solutions and business needs for over 45,000 users across global Navy facilities, including Navy Shipyards and Intermediate Maintenance Facilities + Lead and mentor a team of analysts in evaluating and enhancing complex business systems from WNY perspective + Contribute to the strategic direction of NMMES, balancing customer-driven enhancements with technology obsolescence challenges + Work on projects spanning the entire business process lifecycle, from legacy systems to modern web applications + Apply SAFe Agile methodologies to improve project delivery and team efficiency at WNY **Responsibilities:** + Develop, analyze, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness of work methods, procedures, and business processes within the NMMES environment, with a focus on WNY operations + Formulate and enforce work standards, assign contractor schedules, and review work discrepancies for WNY-based projects + Supervise contractor personnel and communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates at WNY + Conduct in-depth analysis of user requirements specific to WNY operations and translate them into effective IT solutions + Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of WNY business requirements in system specifications + Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, user requirements, and system functionalities relevant to WNY operations + Lead initiatives to modernize legacy business processes while meeting new capability demands for WNY-based users + Implement and oversee SAFe Agile practices within the NMMES development process at WNY **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree + 12 or more years of experience in DoD/Navy programs and/or policies + Extensive knowledge of business analysis principles and practices, particularly in managing complex, global IT systems + Proven experience leading teams and managing full business process lifecycle + SAFe Agilist (SA) certification or higher + Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret clearance **_Desired Qualifications:_** + Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field + Experience with naval maintenance and modernization systems or similar complex DoD programs, particularly at Washington Navy Yard + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance legacy system processes with new technology integration + Advanced SAFe certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or SAFe Business Analyst + Familiarity with both legacy software applications and current web application technologies used in WNY operations + Experience in managing business processes across multiple operating systems and technology platforms + Understanding of the specific operational needs and challenges of the Washington Navy Yard in relation to NMMES + Ability to liaison effectively between WNY stakeholders and the broader NMMES program team - ______________________________________________________________________________ **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
