Business Systems Analyst (REMOTE EST/CST/MST)
Job Description A large retail & commercial bank is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join their team in Operational Risk team remotely. The bank has close to $90B in assets, 9K employees and more than 2M customers along the east coast. In addition to providing excellent banking experiences for their customers, the bank also very involved in the community through charitable giving and philanthropy to give back to low/moderate income and underserved communities. The BSA should have demonstrated expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution implementations that support Operational Risk Management use cases. This resource will provide actionable consulting as well as hands-on implementation support to Santander US in the implementation of a new GRC solution. Right now the GRC solution used is SAP GRC from Spain and it is not meeting the needs of the US-based stakeholders so many teams have build their own ad-hoc custom solution to integrate with this SAP GRC tool which is causing issues so the goal is to build a standardized tool for the US that can integrate with Spain. They are currently evaluating vendor tools such as ServiceNow and PowerApps (which would require more customization). It would be helpful if the candidate had a technical background in such tools or technologies to aid further in this journey through implementation. The consulting resource will assist with determining an overall GRC solution strategy, as well as use case definition, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, data migrations, integrations, testing, release readiness, and documentation. The BSA will be meeting with stakeholders (1st and 2nd line of Defense within the Risk org) to understand what is needed for their requirements, writing up BRDs and helping design and shape the solution keeping the risk standards and policies in mind. It is imperative they understand risk management to apply this lens when writing requirements and knowing how to ask the right questions. They will be driving the GRC solution strategy, as well as use case definition, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, data migrations, integrations, testing, release readiness, and documentation; as well as acting as a subject matter expert by advising and guiding decisioning on system design, configuration, etc. Compensation: $65-75/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
