This job contributes to Starbucks success by providing business expertise in identifying and designing improvements on application(s) or database system(s) for Master Data systems, with a high emphasis on Location Master data. Provides user support and troubleshooting, input on business requirements, system and process enhancement support and documentation, system maintenance, and partner training. Involved in data Governance process and can present proposals and work to acquire approvals.
As a senior business systems analyst, you will…
• Collaborate with business and technology teams, related to Starbucks Master Data Location systems. Gather and document business requirements. Help design and develop new and improved processes, tools, and system enhancements to support business unit requirements. Participate with IT developers in testing for changes, and implementations, to ensure functionality and user acceptance. Document and communicate to business partners: Provide release notes, job-aids, reference materials and end user training.
• Support Cross Functional Projects in a high demand area; adding value to our enterprise and customers. Be the subject matter expert to provide recommendations. Assess benefits derived from systems improvements and quantify impact to business unit. Analyze current processes, data, tools, or system and makes recommendations for development, improvement, or simplification
• Maintain the integrity and the functionality of master data systems. Analyze data, problems, and recommend solutions. Support production issues. Research, design standardized reports, or create ad-hoc reports or data queries to support various business units.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
