Discover more about us at www.amerihealthcaritas.com. **_THIS IS NOT A 100% REMOTE POSITION_** **_- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN OUR NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA OFFICE ON A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE_** As a Business Systems Analyst Senior in our Enterprise Data Office you will focus primarily in the data landscape working with Data Lake in Azure Cloud, as well as and hybrid data technologies. The Business Systems Analyst Senior will have strong education and experience in data tools and technologies including SQL and Oracle. Additionally, you will analyze data files for ingestion and write functional requirements supporting the SDLC and Agile lifecycle from initiation, design, testing, and deployment. A strong analytical background is required and experience in the healthcare insurance industry is preferred. **Responsibilities:** + Data file analysis and problem resolution of inbound files. + Data analysis using Excel, SQL, or other toolsets. + Document preparation (Functional Requirements – FRD). + SDLC and Agile lifecycle adherence and management of change control process and approvals. + QA support of requirements and testing. + Occasional weekend support as required. + Maintain team documentation of data inventory, mapping document and flow diagrams. + Assists in managing large scale projects, leads appropriate resources and determines project requirements and deliverables, to ensure successful implementations to meet ACFC user needs. + Assists in ensuring successful project conclusions and large scale projects as measured by meeting ACFC corporate objectives and large-scale projects. + Responsible for leading, evaluating and providing technical and project life cycle methodology. + Communicates business or process solutions, recommendations and issues to ACFC management on a regular basis. + Documents all business process flows as they pertain to the continuance and efficiency of the IS Department. + Develops a working knowledge of all ACFC Managed Care Activities: Marketing, Member Services, Health Services, Claims, Enrollment, Provider Relations, Finance, etc, in order to provide solutions and options to end users requests for service and problem solving. + Interacts with ACFC user areas, regularly, to discuss, observe and review tasks associated with their division as measured by successful implementation of project requests. + Interfaces with ACFC user to determine specific project requirements. + In accordance with established regular communications with Manager, keeps staff apprised of progress, problems, and objectives, and initiatives discussions and solicits input regarding business priorities, plans, and progress. **Qualifications / Education:** + At least five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in a business environment with business analysis, project management, and process re-engineering concentration. + Minimum three (3) to five (5) years direct user interface experience. + **At least five (5 )+ years of experience in Healthcare industry (Medicaid, Medicare) required.** + Ability to manage concurrent multiple tasks and projects; excellent writing and communication skills. + Possess understanding of Medical Billing and Pricing side of Healthcare business. + Possess understanding / experience of healthcare Provider Network. + Possess solid understanding of the industry; high level understanding of business applications; sound understanding of organizational and process development. + High-level understanding of business computer programming and constructs. + **Strong SQL skills with ability to create and build queries.** + Understanding of ETL technologies from a BSA perspective. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related studies; or equivalent related work experience **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion** At Amerihealth Caritas, everyone can feel valued, supported, and comfortable to be themselves.
