**Description:** *Business Systems Design Specialist* Design and implement enterprise solutions around the hydrocarbon supply chain, including marketing, supply, trading, and transportation functions. Initial project will be in support of theLow Carbon Assurance Program. Will be responsible for improving business processes, controlling costs and increasing profitability. The primary focus will be on project work, but will also be involved in supporting existing ERP, and other business-related applications. This includes, but is not limited to: trouble-shooting, problem-solving, issue resolution, user interaction, training, defining systems scope, gathering requirements, documenting design, functional specifications & test scripts, research and fact-finding, configuration, testing, reporting, cutover, IS and business user coordination. Responsibilities: * Perform analysis on complex business processes and recommend simplified, quality solutions to meet business objectives. * Deploy new solutions and enhancements/fixes to the Commercial business by troubleshooting, problem solving, interacting with end-users, training, defining system scope, configuration, testing, etc. * Manage business user interactions including requirements gathering, testing, training and post-implementation support. * Communicate effectively through written and verbal methods. * Collaborate across the organization and with outside parties to deliver solutions. * Meet milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables. This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay. **Qualifications:** The Minimum Requirements for the Position are as follow: * Bachelor's degree (or higher), or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. * A minimum of 5 (five) years of experience implementing, supporting, and/or enhancing SAP-Sales & Distribution (SD) and/or SAP Materials Management (MM). * Good understanding of the SD module integration with FI/CO. * Proficient understanding of pricing in SD. * Experience debugging in SAP. * Experience in OTC and/or P2P. * Experience designing system solutions for complex business processes. * Experience delivering solutions as a functional analyst in all phases of the system development life-cycle. * Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required. All successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
