Workplace: Hybrid ( #LI-Hybrid ), Remote ( #LI-Remote ) - depending on candidate location

Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. About the role... Responsible for the infusing knowledge of agency, district, and business needs into the development of new and revised systems and procedures for major technology projects to assure business and user experience requirements are met. Serves as a liaison with functional departments users. Actively seeks ways to apply technology to agency processes, including analysis and reporting of data and other sales metrics. Research and provide information on agent needs, technology trends and competitive practices relative to the business. Traveling to spend time in agencies is a key function of the role. What you'll accomplish... Coordinate the development and introduction of user and business needs into the various phases of technology. Coordinates with business partners to recommend solutions to meet business goals and objectives. Responsible for assisting other departments in the development and implementation of technical strategies and plans using technology. Assists in the gathering and analyzing of data and metrics to determine project success and makes recommendations to improve success. Develops a partnership with the business partners to communicate and clarify requirements. Contributes to the development of long-range business plans and ensure products and services are aligned with business needs. Evaluates vendor proposals for the acquisition of computer systems and technical services for applicability; and assists in the coordination of vendor technical involvement in the planning, installation, and implementation of systems/processes. Provides regular written and verbal status reports on all new and ongoing projects. Provides senior level oversight/support of field Sales Productivity Specialists or other team members as appropriate to the business unit. Physical actions... Required job duties are essentially sedentary work consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and/or carrying 20 lbs. Maximum, bending, talking, hearing, reaching and driving. Physical environment... Job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Job occasionally requires trips to vendors. Education needed... High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Major designation preferred. Experience needed...

6 years professional level job in Business Technology, Marketing, or Distribution Supervisory experience with Farmers.

Candidate qualifications may be reviewed against the requirements for the associated levels of this position's core function. Salary grade will be based on selected candidates' experience and skills.

Special skills needed... Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional presence - experience presenting to C-Suite executives. Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach. Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude. Excellent time management skills. Strong relationship building. Willingness & ability to travel a minimum of 25%.
