Job DescriptionThe Business Transformation Program Manager will lead and coordinate multiple technology-focused projects within RRD, with a strong emphasis on initiatives involving AI and emerging technologies within the transformation roadmap. This role involves defining, implementing, and guiding projects to success, ensuring that each follows a clear, strategic path. Key responsibilities include identifying required project outcomes, developing actionable plans to achieve those goals, and maintaining alignment with organizational objectives. The team member will foster accountability among team members, keep stakeholders informed, and drive transformational thinking, uncovering innovative possibilities beyond current constraints.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
Partner with team members to ideate and identify new opportunities, exploring solutions where they don’t yet exist.Coordinate communication among stakeholders, including IT, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment on project goals, responsibilities, accountability, risks, and overall progress.Idea Formulation, Proposal Development, and Business Case Contribution
Transform new ideas into well-structured proposals for engagement and review with relevant business stakeholders, ensuring all workflow, system, and process aspects are thoroughly considered.Assist in the creation of business cases, perform data analysis, and contribute to budgeting efforts.Project Planning, Documentation, and Milestone management
Define comprehensive project plans, create visual aids, and develop all necessary documentation to support project objectives and outcomes.Manage project tasks to achieve milestones and timelines, escalating issues to stakeholders as neededScope, Requirements, and Resource Validation
Work with business and IT teams to document project scope, specific requirements, operational processes, product mix, system configurations, and service offerings for successful implementation.Validate project scope, timelines, and resource estimates with business stakeholders and IT partners to ensure feasibility and alignment.Project Execution and Risk Management
Oversee the planning and delivery of the appropriate technology stack across various projects, systems, and business platforms.Maintain responsibility for resource tracking, status reporting, and issue communication to key partners, including senior executives and customers.Identify potential project risks proactively, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues as necessary to adjust project scope, resources, or timelines.Engage with business owners to assess potential project and program risks, identifying critical areas for proactive managementTransition and Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement a transition plan to move projects from the integration phase to ongoing support.Metrics Maintenance and Improvement: Track and evaluate project metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.Problem-solving and Technical Knowledge Application
Leverage experience to identify problems and apply proven solutions effectively within the project context.Utilize specialized technology or software knowledge relevant to the project as required.QualificationsBachelor's degree in a related discipline requiredAt least 5 years of experience, preferably with experience in enterprise business or ITProven working experience and successes in project managementSolid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in enterprise architecture and technologies across various business unitsExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, understanding business concepts, and tailoring communication to diverse groups.Demonstrated expertise in applying strategic technology leadership to diverse projects will be essential for success in this role.Additional InformationThe national pay range for this role is $95,400 to $194,500 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
