The Business Unit Head of Malaysia is responsible for leading and managing the Electrical Products sales operations within Malaysia & Singapore. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance and professional growth. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. Budget Management: Manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications: Education: A degree in Electrical Engineering. MBA in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Skills: o Strong leadership and team management skills. o Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. o Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. o Analytical and strategic thinking. o Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
