**Your role and responsibilities**
The HR Partner for IBM Global Sales is an integral part of the Human Resources team. Successful candidates will provide HR thought leadership while working closely with the management and executive teams, and other HR leaders. The HR Leader will influence and proactively address business opportunities and challenges related to leadership, talent and skills, diversity & inclusion, and organizational development amongst others to support IBMers and our culture of growth.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Minimum of 10 recent years as an HR professional with experience in 1-2 functions within HR
* Demonstrated success with Employee Relations
* Demonstrated success driving client outcomes by utilizing network and relationships across HR and across the enterprise e.g., Legal, Finance, etc
* Strong business acumen and fluency in business strategy and related HR imperatives
* Strong communication skills (written & verbal) - concise and completing communications across a variety of audiences, including senior level leadership
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Strategic Thinking - out-side in, conceptualization, innovation
* Use of Analytics - Use cognitive analytics and problem-solving techniques to resolve complex situations
* Agile way of working - experienced in working with agile practices
