Position Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Production Manager, this position is responsible for all areas within their business unit. The business unit leader will have responsibility to achieve safety, quality, productivity, customer service, cost, and employee relation objectives through both individual and team contributions. The business unit leader is responsible for conducting a Daily Directional Setting (DDS) meeting each day. Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on the job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualification
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.Ability to work off shift hours.Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of related experienceFood manufacturing and/or packaging experience and basic understanding of EHS and Food regulations.Experience with Union environment preferred.SAP and Thermal processing experienceKnowledge, understanding and/or experience with continuous improvement philosophies/tools and the ability to deliver against scorecard metrics.Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting/problems solving Competencies in building and lead effective teams, conflict management, drive for results and motivating others.The ability and commitment to lead within the ConAgra Brands’ Timeless Values – Integrity, External Focus, Broad-Mindedness, Agility, Leadership, ResultsCompensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
