**About the role:**
The Business Unit Manager – LCM/TIJ position is responsible for general management, sales and P&L of a product lines within a matrix organization. In direct coordination with Sales, Marketing, Product Planning, Service, Operations, Procurement, Engineering and R&D, this individual will establish a strategic vision for the product lines driving growth, profitability, and on a global basis.
This position is part of the Global Business Unit Management department located in Wood Dale, IL and will be hybrid (3 days in office). Regions whose time zones overlap with Wood Dale can be considered in exceptional cases.

In this role, you will:
+ Develop product line strategic plans as well as functional strategies: 1 and 3 year vision; recommending products, projects, services, etc anticipating business & regulatory issues as well as impacting the direction & resource allocation of the business.
+ Articulate an in depth understanding of competitors, their products and strategies with an eye to understand their full positioning and plans of attack.
+ Develop comprehensive materials and tools to help sales win opportunities. These include fight sheets, value selling documents, ROI/TCO tools, solution guides, etc. Ensures commercial teams have skills to sell what is available today via adequate product and positioning training.
+ Develop and execute global plans for new product development and launch including internal support materials. Responsible for technical and commercial product success measured by Revenue Achievement (RA), Net Incremental NPD Revenue, and Incremental Pipeline Value.
+ Get to Gemba (point of impact/field) to really understand customer, competitor and market dynamics.
**Are you qualified?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or experience in a senior product manager role working with a technical product is preferred.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related role, ideally including a track record of successfully delivering successful new products launchings
+ A strong understanding of the marking and coding market, industry trends, and user experiences
+ Prior experience in creating product vision and leading cross-team collaboration across engineering and commercial organizations.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
