Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Business Unit Manager (Plant Hire) in Outjo, Namibia.

 

Key Requirements:

+10 years’ experience in management +15 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within the plant hire industry Candidates currently based in Namibia will be preferred

 

Duties:

Overseeing all the operational activities of the plant, Plant Maintenance, Parts Procurement and Plant replacement policy implementation. Managing the performance of the team, including staff training, evaluation and assessment while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations Controlling expenditure and managing capital requirements within a set budget Preparing production and performance reports for senior management Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program for the plant Manage diesel control and usages Maintaining inventory levels and controlling the flow of product
