Business valuation is part art, part science, and an insightful analysis is the result of a careful review of the facts by a team of professionals with experience working with companies of all sizes, backgrounds, and industries.Companies seek clarity about value for a variety of reasons. Whatever your motivation may be, we believe valuations are a fundamental process for informing your decision-making based on what is likely your most significant financial asset. We provide more than 400 valuations each year in a myriad of different areas. Some of the areas we specialize in are valuation of businesses, securities, and intangible assets for a wide range of tax, transaction and compliance purposes.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.ResponsibilitiesDetermines the purpose, standard, premise, level of value, approaches and methods used in a valuation engagementCompletes business valuation write upsParticipates in site visits and management interviewsIdentifies and proposes modifications and opportunities for efficiencies in the business valuation processParticipates in professional and community organizations to develop networkLeverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice developmentQualifications Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field requiredMinimum of 2 years of related experience requiredAbility to work with managers and gain their confidence and respectA track record of high level financial statement analysisOutstanding client service skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAnalytical and creative problem solving skillsTeam player and deadline orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-taskFlexibility with travel and hoursProficient with Microsoft Office applications
