BUSINESS WORKFLOW ANALYST I, QUALITY ASSURANCE POSITION SUMMARY BeneLynk, a leading national provider in identifying the government and community benefits for which individuals are eligible to lead healthier lives, is seeking to hire a Business Workflow Analyst I to join the Product Management Office (PMO). Our mission is to improve lives and positively impact Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) barriers by providing our healthcare partners with the information they need, and people with the advocacy they deserve. Currently BeneLynk serves clients representing 12 million Medicare/Medicaid lives in every state in the USA. The Business Workflow Analyst I is a position that is responsible for capturing and socializing a clear understanding of the call center processes. To serve as a source of expertise within the Product Management department, educating peers and leaders on the current and proposed agent workflow in the evolution of the BeneLynk platform; Lynk360. This representative will be critical in the execution of Quality Assurance (QA) and User Access Testing (UAT) strategies in collaboration with the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance to identify issues in the production of our products, and the solutions being deployed to our internal customers. The Business Workflow Analyst I will work in conjunction with BeneLynk’s Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, the Sr. Business Analyst – Quality Assurance, and the Engineering (ENG) team to design, develop, test, validate, deploy, monitor, and manage BeneLynk’s Medicare and Medicaid benefits solutions/services being released to the industry. In addition, this individual will also assist in the capturing of business needs/business requirements from Stakeholder(s) and in the defining of corresponding project and product directives relative to Product Development (PD) initiatives. Once hired, and working closely with the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, this professional would assist in the leading, orchestration, and management of all QA/UAT directives as to recurrently ensure that all products are made with the highest quality standard and are fully reliable upon release to market. The Business Workflow Analyst I will be an integral piece in defining and executing testing strategies for existing solutions and to ensure that BeneLynk continues to deliver high-quality products and services to its customers. Key Responsibilities Represent BeneLynk’s Customers: This function is listed first, because we always want to be thinking of how best to serve our internal and external customers. The first responsibility of the Business Workflow Analyst I is to understand the business needs and goals of BeneLynk’s clients and the functionality of the products/services that are designed to address these initiatives. Ensure Product Quality: The Business Workflow Analyst I will be responsible for understanding and documenting the existing and proposed workflow for Lynk360; the objectives, actions, decisions, dependencies, and next steps. This role will be responsible for designing and executing the End-to-End validation of product functionality relative to enacted QA/UAT processes. This individual will be vital to the assurance and attestation that BeneLynk products, for which are being developed and deployed for use by internal call center agents, are absent of issues and recurrently adhere to the Voice of the Customer (VOC). Team Collaboration: This role is responsible for fostering an effective and collaborative team structure, and in working with colleagues across technical, business, and operational departments. This cohort will be part of a team that is structured to understand, design, and execute QA and UAT plans based on the business goals, needs, and requirements captured from these teammates. This role may have multiples responsibilities, reflecting the small, but growing, size of BeneLynk as a company. All of us, including our senior management team, are on the front-line performing what needs to be accomplished as to establish BeneLynk as the nation’s premier provider of benefit and SDoH advocacy services. QUALIFICATIONS + Collaborate with different Stakeholder(s) including Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership to understand the journey of our agents and the individual/members that they assist. + To document the current and proposed workflow in the journey of the agents. This documentation will be used to communicate the process clearly and efficiently, proposed changes and potential impact. In addition, the documentation provided by the Business Workflow Analyst I is designed to align all representatives on the proposed processes as well as to reveal any missing dependencies, requirements and changes that should be considered in the execution of the product roadmap. + To leverage their expertise on the member/agent journey to educate/train their peers in Product Management on the agent workflow within Lynk360. + Develop test strategies, test plan, test suites, test cases, and test scripts - providing a high-level of testing and analysis coverage across existing functionalities and new features. + Appraise customers’ requirements to ensure that they are satisfied and devoid of directive, development, and discrepancies. + Devises best practices, processes, and procedures to stringently inspect and report detailed quality issues for prompt correction. + Facilitates proactive solutions by collecting, analyzing, and communicating quality data. + Works on multiple initiatives as to prioritize features, devise program testing and analysis requirements, creates corresponding documentation/process flows, and defines on-time delivery of End-to-End testing. + Provides the testing SCOPE/overview documentation, test plan, test results, and associated tickets for resolution/prioritization. + Responds quickly to QA/UAT and/or Production (PRD) issues as to research and identify ways to reproduce defects, update tickets, and monitor the status project/product initiatives accordingly. + Participates in conceptualizing and implementing Continual Process Improvement (CPI) and Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives across the product lifecycle. + Conducts thorough testing and analysis regarding software, websites, and/or other technical products to identify and resolve bugs, defects, and/or other potential issues. + Reviews design specifications and project/product parameters to understand the SCOPE, requirements, and function of the software product. + Engages with the Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closing (IPEMC) relative to Product Management (PM) initiatives. + Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate product attributes; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. + Conducts testing and analysis to ensure that products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines as conveyed within the Business Requirements Document (BRD) (*Project Charter (PC)). + Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects. S/he reports findings to the Product Management Office (PMO) and/or Engineering (ENG) office when/if applicable, and/or required. + When a product does not perform within specifications, s/he promptly reports defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates. + Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and/or BeneLynk leadership personnel regarding QA/UAT and/or businessrelated objectives. + Works in tandem with the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and the Sr. Business Analyst – Quality Assurance regarding QA/UAT operations as well as other members of the PMO office to remain abreast and accord with BeneLynk project/product initiatives. + Works in tandem with the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and the Sr. Business Analyst – Quality Assurance regarding QA/UAT training and development initiatives. + Works in tandem with the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance to define and test project/product Milestones that will correspond with the QA/UAT process when/if applicable, and/or required. Additional Duties + 2 - 4+ years in Quality Assurance (QA) and/or User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with 1 year of experience in leading product testing and analysis efforts across multiple QA and/or UAT initiatives. + Experience in Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies. Experience or knowledge of SCRUM fundamentals, frameworks, and methodologies. + Experience in leading testing and analysis activities across the entire lifecycle of the project from inception to delivery. + Experience in conducting Requirements Gathering (RG) with an end-user/Stakeholder. + Experience leading project or product initiatives performing End-to-End testing across multiple programs. + Experience in leading and/or engaging with the development of testing procedures, test scripts, and a coverage matrix for comprehensive testing and analysis of the systems under assessment. + Experience in leading and/or engaging in the conceptualization and creation of QA/UAT test reports, showcasing test progress, status, dashboards, test plan completion, defects identified, and/or associated risks. + Responsible for ensuring all bugs, defects, enhancements, and requirements are recorded in an efficient, informative, and timely manner. + Remains calm under pressure and evinces a proactive and self-starting attitude with excellent interpersonal skills. + Experience in presenting information to teams, stakeholders, and/or executives. + Highly organized, disciplined, and methodical when approaching testing with the ability to thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced, start-up environment with the curiosity to develop ways to improve the UAT/QA process. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to create test plans, test suites, and test cases from project/product specifications and/or verbal communication channels. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with developers, project managers, and customer support. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficient in MSFT Office Suite (MSFT Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and/or related software. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Recurrently portrays a collegial comportment and candor to all BeneLynk cohorts. + Strong business and technical acumen with attention to detail. + Willingness to learn and leverage newly obtained skillsets. + Willingness to perform research and analysis when/if applicable, and/or required. + Adept at understating the premise, intent, and utilization of QA/UAT operations and how they coalesce with product design, development, and delivery processes. EDUCATION Associates degree in related field required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Supervisory Duties + Assists the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance in orchestrating and supervising QA/UAT operations when/if applicable, and/or when required. + Assists the Manager of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance in performing training and development initiatives as it relates to the realm of QA/UAT operations when/if applicable, and/or when required. Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience and Education/Training: * Preferred but not required. * + Use of the MSFT Azure DevOps (Test Plans, Test Suites, Test Cases). + Testing and deploying solutions in a call center. + Experience in relevant fields including health plan systems, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits and/or SDoH database companies. + Managed care experience. + Extensive knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication. + Bachelor’s degree in related field from a regionally accredited university. Physical Requirements: + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. + Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. + Must have a stable internet connection.
