We're hiring a Full-Time Busser/Barback at Sarasota National Club in Venice, FL!

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for service. As a Busser/Barback, you will be responsible for providing incredible guest service and member experiences through daily cleaning services. Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work days and nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities:

Assures that all material used by bartender/server is clean and ready for daily operation. Fills and re-fills water glasses and removes any place settings not being used. Clears dishes located in front of guest upon completion of course. Clears and resets tables when guests leave, to include but not limited to: changes tablecloth, brushes chairs, places chairs at table, replaces silverware and glassware, and replaces napkins. Assists the bartender/server when needed. Keeps workstations well stocked of items and ingredients. Clean workstations, takes out trash, and vacuums the dining room. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.

 

Working Conditions:

Frequently stands, walks and sits Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions Frequently works with cleaning supplies and chemicals May come into contact with fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals Noise level is moderate
