THE JOB: 

The primary responsibility of the Bus Runner is to uphold cleanliness and sanitation in their assigned section. This involves clearing dirty dishes and debris from tables and replenishing tables and side stations with clean dishes, silverware, glassware, and condiments. Additionally, the Bus Runner collaborates with Food Servers to ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered, including the efficient and timely delivery of food within the restaurant.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE:  $15.3802

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Ensure the food and beverage station remains clean and organized at all timesThoroughly clean and sanitize all equipmentKeep floors clear of debris and spillsSweep, mop floors, and dispose of garbage as neededMaintain appropriate par stock levels at the beverage stationClean and sanitize tables and chairsRetrieve orders from the warehouse and stock the storeroomAssist with proper rotation of stockDeliver food as required by the departmentPerform additional job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsMust currently hold or be able to obtain both a Food Handler’s card and Alcohol Awareness cardMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

One (1) year of previous experience in a restaurant as a Busser or Food Runner in a similar resort settingOne (1) year of previous experience in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant environmentEffective listening abilities with strong judgment skillsKnowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulationsKnowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholdersCapable of standing and walking for a majority of the shiftAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
