Busser/Runner (Part-time)

Job Overview:

 

As a Busser/Food Runner, you’ll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, table service, food prep, cleaning, cash handling and inventory.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Take orders and deliver food and drinks, answer questions regarding menu and drink selections. Work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently. Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs. Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies Other duties as required.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

GED or High School Diploma At least 1 year kitchen experience Excellent verbal communication skills required Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. 

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs. Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time. Reach with hands and arms. Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.

Additional Information

Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday

 

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
