Job Description **REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILTIES** + Ability to identify, research, assess, and process information on sources, items and services + Experience with competitive and sole source purchasing + Experience working within a government-approved purchasing system + Experience placing, recording and tracking moderate value commercial orders (up to $2M) using a supply chain management software system + Experience setting up vendor purchases and agreements with overseas vendors in developing countries. + Detail-oriented, with ability to keep accurate records + Superior communication and customer service skills + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and various computer software programs + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables + Ensures compliance with CPSR, FAR/DFARS, Agency-specific regulations and Amentum policies and procedures for subcontracts and procurement + Extensive experience with Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Projects. CostPoint expertise a plus + Experience with purchasing COTS electronics, communications, HVAC, power conditioning, and computer systems components along with vendor services. Familiar (from a purchasing standpoint) with vendors of COTS computer and electronic equipment such as Dell computers, Cambium Microwave, Furuno/Terma marine radars, UPS and power conditioning, wiring and cabling vendors, Barrett/Motorola HF & VHF radios, HVAC equipment. + Prepares solicitation documentation for acquisitions to include statements of work, terms and conditions, flow-down terms and conditions, bid or performance evaluation factors, and other measures incorporated into the Requests for Proposal as may be appropriate for the procurement. + Consults with company staff representing the legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance. + Ensures the receipt, accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to the subcontract deliverables as well as monitoring performance relative to timeliness, cost considerations, and technical objectives. + Prepares price and/or cost analyses using techniques other than adequate price competition as appropriate. + Prepares written reports, letters, and memoranda required for internal and external distribution. + Responsible for cradle to grave procurement and subcontracts support to include establishing Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sole Source Justifications, and Subcontractor Consent Packages. **EDUCATION** + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college preferred (two years’ experience in a related field can be substituted for each year of the four-year degree requirement) + Two or more years of related procurement and subcontracts management experience. **OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES** + Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
