Located on the North Shore of Montreal, more precisely in Terrebonne. This company specializes in electrical disconnect switches and plays a crucial role in Canada's energy sector. Highly reliable, custom-made products have propelled them to the forefront of electrical equipment suppliers. They are currently looking for a buyer to join their team.

Main responsibilities:

To be able to manage strategic procurement activities by optimizing purchasing cost, quality and on-time delivery of components. Purchasing process, requests for quotations, analyses, comparisons, issuing, confirming, tracking and follow-up of orders. Maintain good business partnerships with existing suppliers. Research and compare new suppliers. Work in collaboration with other departments in Planning and Engineering, and order the right quantities according to strategic production objectives. Solve procurement, stock and lead time problems. Coordinate transport logistics. Follow up on non-conformity reports.

Skills and qualifications :

Knowledge of machined, laser-cut, cast and/or extruded parts Proficiency in Genius ERP system is an asset 3 years' experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry Bilingualism in French and English Apply
