Collins Aerospace is looking for a Buyer who will be able to provide delivery assurance in a fast-paced high matrixed environment. You will be supporting the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility. You will ensure that the day-to-day supply chain management activities such as placing purchase orders and managing suppliers ensuring they execute on quality and on-time delivery at cost to meet our financial goal. You will interact with multiple programs, departments and both domestic and international suppliers. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and managing the supplier relationship.

What YOU will do

Coordinate the procurement cycle from purchase request to payment of invoiceIdentify, evaluate and setup new suppliersEvaluate supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliersAlign supplier schedules with facility needsObtain schedule and delivery confirmations from suppliersStatus purchase ordersCoordinate material needs, expedites, updates and change orders with suppliersMonitor supplier delivery and quality performanceParticipate in negotiations of long-term agreements with suppliersConduct Supply Market AnalysisEnsure parts documentation is clear, accurate, and organizedSupport strategic projects in support of facility/company goalsCreate and present metrics and supporting reports to suppliers, peers, and managersAble to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances requirePerforms other duties as required

Education & Experience

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
