Our Client is seeking a dedicated Buyer to monitor inventory levels and material usage to prevent stockouts, partner with suppliers, and negotiate competitive pricing. This role involves working with innovative cutting-edge technology and offers opportunities for growth within the procurement team.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor inventory levels and material usage to prevent stockouts.
+ Partner with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing.
+ Utilize ERP systems such as Netsuite, Oracle, or SAP for materials purchasing.
+ Manage vendor negotiations to ensure favorable terms.
+ Handle procurement tasks for manufacturing operations.
+ Oversee inventory management processes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems (Netsuite, Oracle, SAP).
+ Experience in materials purchasing for manufacturing.
+ Strong vendor negotiation skills.
+ Effective inventory management capabilities.
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ Experience in the clean energy sector is a plus.
Work Environment
The procurement team consists of three people, offering a close-knit and collaborative work environment. You will report to the Director of Operations. Our Client specializes in real-time and high frame-rate digital image acquisition, processing, and storage, supporting the clean energy sector, primarily wind farms. This role promises growth opportunities within an innovative and technologically advanced company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.00
