Description We are in search of a meticulous Buyer to be a part of our team in Midland, Texas. In this role, you will be handling customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Moreover, you will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Keep precise records of customer credit • Address customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner • Monitor customer accounts and make necessary adjustments • Request quotes for materials as needed by the Engineering and Drafting departments • Generate and submit purchase orders based on approved quotes for necessary materials • Store relevant quotes, datasheets, and invoices in their appropriate locations once the purchase orders are transmitted • Communicate the status of procurement and delivery times of materials to the relevant departments • Follow-up with vendors to track the progress of materials purchased • Resolve any discrepancies in Purchase Orders for the accounting department • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor as necessary Requirements • Possess expertise in the Energy/Natural Resources industry. • Have experience in a Buyer role or similar procurement position. • Demonstrate proficiency in Chef software. • Be knowledgeable in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). • Show familiarity with Epicor software. • Possess skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. • Have experience with ERP Solutions. • Exhibit proficiency in About Time software. • Understand and execute Accounting Functions effectively. • Have experience with Accounts Payable (AP). • Familiarity with Buying Processes is a must. • Excellent Communication skills are required.
