​Our position of Buyer is based at our Nové Mesto nad Váhom Slovakia site. The focus of this role is to manage the buying process for a given set of goods while applying sourcing policy with respect to specifications and budgets. You need to have experience and understand concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

Some of your duties are listed below, your day to day tasks will be discussed at personal interview:

Qualifying new suppliers and maintaining an up-to-date central supplier database (HICX).Drafting and negotiating supplier contracts, liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations, and evaluating them effectively.Managing the end-to-end process of requests and orders, resolving any supplier related issues promptly while adhering to system requirements.Generating comprehensive reports and utilizing ERP systems for efficient procurement management (Thoughtspot and SAP).Executing strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers to optimize procurement processes and outcomes.Implementing new tools and principles derived from global strategic sourcing strategies.

Some experience in a similar/technical position (profiles of new graduates with the right skill set will be considered)Drafting and negotiating supplier contractsFluent language skills in English and Slovak (knowledge of German would be advantageous)Standard PC literacy is a must (knowledge of Ariba would be advantageous) Excellent communication skills and experience in contract preparation and supply negotiationsAbility to read technical documentation/drawingsAttention to detail and strategic thinking
