Procurement Team Lead
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tInitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.•\tNegotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.•\tRecommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.•\tAnalyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
Qualifications for the role\tFrom 2 to 3 years of professional experience in related position.\tAdvanced English communication skills, able to mantain fluent business conversations\tSAP experience\tExperience negotiating with suppliers\tKnowledge of comparative tables in Excel\tSAP Ariba management as a plus\tCompliance Pro management as a plus
