ResponsibilitiesResearch and compare suppliers, goods, and services.Select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost efficiency.Monitor inventory levels, business requirements, and determine purchase needs.Request cost proposals and negotiate contracts and prices.Prepare and process purchase orders.Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments.Schedule and verify purchase deliveries.Expedite delayed orders.Build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations.Resolve issues related to shipments, inventory returns, replacements, and credit arrangements.Work independently within established procedures associated with the job function.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED required.Degree in business administration, procurement, or a related field preferred.Previous experience as a purchasing agent or in a similar position.Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and inventory management software programs.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong organization and documentation skills.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
