Join us and we can make a difference together. **About this role** The **Buyer** will carry out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of purchasing activities, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis; work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly; develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships and implement sourcing strategies to continuously improve supply chain resiliency. **Key Responsibilities** + Procure $40-$60 million of production components supporting multiple production lines + Manage relationships with a supply base of 60-80 suppliers + Prepare and process request for quotations and purchase orders + Resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments and payments + Establish lines of contact with team members, supporting cross-communication and idea generation + Identify process improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain responsibilities **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree + 1+ year of experience in supply chain, operations or customer service **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in the manufacturing industry, OEM and/or supply chain management + Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment + Self-starter capable of working with minimal oversight and proactive in seeking solutions + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP/ERP system experience + Strong written and verbal communication skills \#LI-Onsite **RSRCAR** **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
