Job Title: Buyer III Job Description As a Buyer III, you will coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising for the establishment. You will confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Responsibilities + Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services. + Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information. + Work directly in support of line operations and in collaboration with department managers, engineers, or operations staff. + Estimate values according to market price knowledge and determine the method of procurement. + Prepare bid specifications, receive bids, and make purchases of commodities or goods. + Work out remedies for defective or unacceptable goods or services with relevant personnel. + Provide work direction and training to other professional staff and non-exempt buyers. Essential Skills + Vendor relations + Procurement + ERP/SAP + 5+ years experience with professional purchasing activities + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent + Experience reading blueprints, symbols, and bills of material + Inventory + Negotiation + Buyer purchasing + Raw material + Manufacturing buying + Bid evaluation Additional Skills & Qualifications + Demonstrated ability to drive cost-effective procurement through supplier collaboration + Practical knowledge of purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain strategies + Strong negotiation and analytical skills + Knowledge of operations, scheduling, and purchasing procedures, MRP systems, and supply chain best practices + Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00 Benefits for Consarc listed below:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursement Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Rancocas,NJ.
