Buyer Job Description: + Understand the full cycle of purchasing + Max is there current system– looking to create their own system + Cost of ownership + Being strategic + Customer Service, Lead time + Industry experience – manufacturing, product, electronics, aerospace + This particular is purchasing cables (over the counter cables, adaptors, connectors) cables from 500-1200$, ranges on pay. Other hardware that may need to be purchased. + They have a set source and have to source themselves- willing to do it. + Not much client interfacing but relationship building with suppliers - may have to visit – travel once a year 2-3 days + Work with engineers and production Top Skills: + Cost savings of 25,000 and be able to back that up – receipts and actions that you have done in the past that have made you successful + What did you do to do to improve/make it better – RESULTS + Experience in any software – basic excel etc. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
