Description We are in search of a Buyer to join our team in ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania. As a Buyer, your role will be crucial in managing the purchasing of warehouse supplies and coordinating with various suppliers for our facility, located in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities • Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for company operations • Coordinate with suppliers for indirect purchasing requirements for the facility • Monitor and manage goods and services to meet the company's production requirements • Maintain accurate material, supplier, and planning system data in the MRP/ERP system • Work closely with Engineering and production teams to determine material requirements and facilitate efficient movement of materials • Collaborate with receiving, finance, and suppliers to reconcile discrepancies in receiving and invoicing • Support sourcing and supplier management initiatives and negotiate pricing, delivery, lead-time, etc., with suppliers and partners • Handle special assignments such as projects to resource commodities • Ensure compliance with the company's quality standards in all job functions.
