Job description:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets Drive RFx processes according to business needs and company policies and proceduresCreate value added in the purchasing process in context of savings, increasing process efficiency, vendor consolidation, supporting and promoting purchasing platforms, etc Negotiate contracts, prices and terms and conditions with suppliers and identifies opportunities for savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methodsPrepare and issue purchase orders and delivery schedules, validate received purchase requestEnsure the right vendor selection based on existing policies, contracts, preferred vendors list and market researchAssess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract complianceContact suppliers to resolve any operational discrepanciesAct as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activitiesIdentify potential risks and address properly the correction actionsWork closely with peers and identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships Be professional in relation to all supplier and customer relationshipsEnsure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures and process flow, DTPs and other relevant documentation guidance during supplier negotiationsRequired Skills:Proven purchasing experience min. 3 years Self-starter and motivated to work in highly dynamic and changing environmentHighly skilled at building and maintaining good and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and suppliersStrong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Analytical skills with strong proven problem-solving abilities and data management skillsResults orientated and right priorities setting ability Project management experienceExcellent organization skills and ability to support and influenceExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to include advanced Excel skillsAriba, iValua, SAP, Oracle, Coupa or any other sourcing systems will be an asset Life at Capgemini
