Buyer in Des Moines, IA + Actively manages inventory of assigned products + Unlimited buying authority for assigned products + Responsible for purchase order entry and follow up + Compiling forecast data + Warehouse and inter-company transfers + Railcar management + Batch assignment of inventory to sales orders + Supplier cost knowledge + Researching/resolving supplier invoice differences + Expedites vendor price verifications and vendor debits and credits + Communicate with supplier representatives as to pricing, availability and lead times + Works with logistics and customer service to maintain material Skills & Qualifications + A three-year college degree and/or education and experience equivalent to be determined by management + Proven ability to work well within a team and promote strong working relationships meanwhile maintaining a professional attitude and positive + outlook. + Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. + Willingness to adapt in an evolving environment. + Related business experience + Detail oriented and ability to prioritize + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
