Buyer Job Description: As a Buyer at Avail Enclosures System, you will play a key role in managing the sourcing and procurement of materials and components required for our custom manufacturing processes. You will work closely with our production, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure that all materials meet our specifications, budget, and timelines. This role requires a combination of attention to detail, ability to read and interpret BOM’s, working within specified timelines and a thorough understanding of the manufacturing industry. This role is onsite in Millington, MD.  Key Responsibilities: + Procure materials and components according to production requirements, minimizing delays and ensuring on-time delivery. + Maintain accurate records of material orders, receipts, and inventory levels. + Work with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of materials. + Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and quick resolution of any issues. + Work closely with the production and engineering teams to understand specific material requirements for custom manufacturing projects. + Collaborate on forecasting material needs based on production schedules and project timelines. + Work with the quality control team to address any material defects or discrepancies and resolve supplier-related issues promptly. Required Qualifications: + 3 years of proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar role within a custom manufacturing, industrial or construction setting. + Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. + Knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement software. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. + Familiarity with Oracle and other procurement tools.
