Our purchasing team is currently looking for new team members for our Purchasing Center in Port Louis, Mauritius. Would you like to be part of team who ensure that business purchasing needs are fulfilled through a high level of automation across Sub-Saharan Africa? Are you keen to find the most proper competitive supplier for lower value requests and negotiate contracts conditions? Do you enjoy working with data and support internal stakeholders?

Your task will be depending on your experience and skills, we are currently hiring two types of positions:

\n \n

Buyer (Requisition processing and adhoc purchases)

\n\nProcessing purchase requests, negotiations with suppliers for the best offer, ensuring mandatory information is included\nDaily support and process the requirements/orders in the ordering system (e-tool)\nCommunication with business requestors, ensuring request is properly specified and documented\nSearching for new suppliers and communication with existing suppliers\nMatching purchase requests with existing contracts and preferred vendors\nMaintain good relationship with suppliers and internal business partners and solve day-to-day problems\n\n \n

 Buyer (back-office and value enabling)

\n\nActively drive the creation and use of procurement e-catalogues\nManaging vendor master data throughout electronic tools\nGenerate and analyze reports, identify improvement areas\nSupport team-efficiency with standardized documentation, process steps\nProvide trainings for internal business partners\n\n \n

Your profile should look like:

\n\nMinimum 1 years of experience in procurement services or in a similar role\nExcellent verbal and written English and French language skills, Portuguese is a plus\nFully computer literate, with a solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint\nProblem solving skills and “Can Do” attitude\nEnjoy communication and interaction with people\nEnjoy working with data and detail orientation\n\n
