Purchasing Specialist Needed! Job Description The person will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing automotive parts, coils, tires, rims, plumbing assemblies, and hardware. Key responsibilities include sourcing and purchasing sheet metal materials and related products, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. The role involves negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals. The person will also develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve any issues that arise, and ensure timely delivery of materials. Conducting market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products is essential. Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the production team to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, managing the end-to-end order process, including requisition, purchase order creation, and order tracking, ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, and preparing and presenting regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance are also key duties.
