Coordinate activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for the establishment. Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Work directly in support of line operations and in collaboration with department managers, engineers, or operations staff. Estimate values according to knowledge of market price and determine method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bid. Prepare bid specifications, receive bids, and make purchases of commodities or goods where the financial impact is great. Work out remedies for defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others. Provide work direction and training to other professional staff and non-exempt buyers. Ensure materials purchased are processed, consumed, or used in the organization.

+ Resolve issues with defective or unacceptable goods or services in collaboration with inspection or quality control personnel, users, and vendors.
+ Provide work direction and training to other professional staff and non-exempt buyers.
+ Ensure that materials purchased are processed, consumed, or used in the organization.

+ Knowledge of operations, scheduling, and purchasing procedures
+ Knowledge of MRP systems and supply chain best practices
+ Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with minimal supervision
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Work Environment
Corporate office in Burlington County with 4-5 people in the department. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Some travel may be required for local day trips.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $75000.00
