Buyer_Indirect Sourcing Specialist

Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced indirect sourcing specialist to our international Global team, who will be responsible for contributing to and implementing the strategic indirect sourcing activities for specific indirect categories, not limited to facility management, MRO, plant equipment, energy, equipment- and site maintenance, material handling, office supplies, fleet management, across India and APAC region.

The successful colleague will work closely with key business stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction strategies and implementation plans. The ideal candidate must be able to build and maintain highly effective relationships internally and externally, have a passion for results, a drive for success, and a high business acumen.

We are looking for a detailed oriented, motivated self-starter with a keen ability to communicate with diverse groups, strong negotiation skills, strategic thinker and a result driven individual.


Responsibilities :
-Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies in an efficient and effective way in line with global category strategies and based on company standards and policies.

•    Ensure global policies, standards, platforms are implemented.

•    Contribute to Global category strategies by ensuring regional demand data, customer strategic requirements, regional market insights are captured and conveyed to respective categories

•    Work with Global Indirect Team to identify and implement improvement initiatives.

•    Delivery of the regional procurement KPI’s including savings targets and support delivery of global targets.

•    Ongoing contract and supplier management (supplier reviews, KPI’s, adherence to contract etc)

•    Ensure regional and local sustainable supply solutions including contingency, responsible sourcing and supplier performance management.

•    Liaise with the functional leaders to provide visibility on strategies, activities and results.

•    Undertake and own regional / local market research and analysis

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in economics, supply chain or related fieldMin. 8-12years of experience in procurement, min. 5 years in a S2C position, preferably in a multinational environment with a complex matrix structure.Good working experience with Ariba & SAP software; eSourcing experience is an asset.
