Responsibilities*Successfully manage inventory to ensure the Right Product, Right Quantity, Right Place, and Right Time occurs to meet clinical needsManage multiple services (product lines) of clinical inventory necessary to support OR peri-operative specialtiesAnalyze data from multiple system interfaces to diligently plan, submit, and track inventory ordersEnsure that supplies are received and inventoried in a timely and effective basis to meet service level targetsSourcing and procure substitutions for backordered/unavailable itemsTrack of backorders and effectively communicates pertinent information to clinical partnersWork closely with clinicians on a regular basis to support daily operations and manage complex conditionsEnsure the integrity of information in the various systems utilized by the supply chain team is correct, and optimally configured to accomplish the supply chain objectivesDirect and collaborate with assigned analyst(s), to reduce inventory variation, improve cost, and improve the service we provideTrack and achieve assigned supply chain goals / key performance indicatorsSupport the institution on projects, initiatives, and other tasks as neededProvide backup to analysts Directly works with vendors and manufacturers regarding all facets of inventory; billing reconciliation, item changes, consignment levels, supply concerns, order tracking, warranty, packaging, recalls, and moreEnsure items used in clinical cases have been recorded and billed appropriatelyRegularly coordinates with cross-functional departments primarily for issue resolution, information coordination, and project planningConfigure optimum OR inventory plans and execution for assigned categories ? locations, racking, labeling, flow, PAR levels, lead time, material flowEstablish relationships, maintain effective communication, and collaborate with clinicians and leadership teams Assist with the implementation of standardized human tissue handling and tracking process to comply with Federal and JC requirements for all UMHHC OR sites. 

     Responsibilities for human tissue include:

Develop and coordinate a Tissue Tracking Team of subject matter experts to refine the policy for tissue management in the ORs and to solve ongoing issues.Maintain storage equipment to ensure a controlled storage environment.Respond to and investigate TempTrak alerts received via paging system.Cycle Count all tissue products, Posting and Gap Analysis to ensure prompt actions to address root causes for all cycle count variances. Keep apprised of daily changes in the Operating Room schedule to capture any urgent specialty graft requests, coordinate delivery with service leads to ensure availability for surgery.Develop and maintain complete training materials for all Supply Chain Analysts and ensure back up staff are well trained and knowledgeable about tissue products.Develop and maintain complete training materials for all clinical staff and develop a feedback process for Nursing Leadership on compliance to tissue policies by all staff.Put Up and Rotate Stock, remove expired items, coordinate with Service LeadVerify and reconcile all invoice discrepanciesWork with the Service Leads on service specific product alerts and recallsParticipate in Joint Commission surveys and reviewsOther duties as requiredRequired Qualifications*Bachelor Degree in relevant field or equivalent relevant experience Minimum 3 years of experience in the Supply Chain IndustryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProblem-solving skills and analytical thinkingExcellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of reliability, commitment, tenacity, teamwork and creative energy; excellent time management skillsProficiency in MS Office with proven excel spreadsheet skillsDesired Qualifications*Bachelor's Degree in Supply ChainSkill in Data AnalyticsExperience Implementing Lean Principles
