Summary:
Procurement Specialist responsible for implementing commodity strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts within the Power & Energy industry.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or as a buyer with a focus on supplier management. Extensive experience in the Power & Energy industry. Proficiency in SAP for procurement processes. Strong expertise in supplier negotiations and contract management.Preferred Skills:
Experience in identifying and analyzing regional or global suppliers. Knowledge of procurement guidelines, IT systems, and global procurement methods. Understanding of compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes.Job Responsibilities:
Implement commodity strategies to ensure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials. Contribute to the implementation and usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and compliance. Prepare and conduct negotiations to achieve the highest feasible savings for the organization. Document and implement savings to contribute to business success and ensure transparency. Execute Supplier Management processes, including qualification, selection, evaluation, development, and classification. Maintain close cooperation with internal customers to ensure customer care and early involvement in procurement processes. Provide supplier information to project teams and conduct project-specific supplier evaluations. Identify regional or global suppliers for assigned commodities, semi-products, and services within various business units. Analyze and discuss technical specifications in cooperation with sales management or technical project managers. Plan and manage work according to targets within a project-driven environment, integrating resources as needed. Provide functional advice and guidance to colleagues and customers, influencing policy and guidelines within the business/technology area.Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
