ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies.Maintain day to day communication with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, system data integrity, and ordering parameters for individual materialsSchedule production within production environment by issuing work orders and maintaining schedulesMaintain ideal inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries, while maximizing turns, and minimizing carrying costsRely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsPerform a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedUnderstand the dynamics of effective teamwork to attain higher levels of performanceUnderstands lean manufacturing and can demonstrate various lean practicesDemonstrate a commitment to engage teams in other departments or divisions of the organizationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively work in a team. Bachelor’s Degree, business or supply chain preferredThree to five years of professional supply chain experienceTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
