Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist in the non-profit industry, located in Palatine, Illinois. This role is a crucial part of our team, focusing on managing and overseeing buying processes, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Oracle systems. Responsibilities: • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to streamline and optimize buying processes • Collaborate with the chef and other team members to ensure efficient operation of the buying processes • Oversee and manage the use of Oracle systems within the organization • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of ERP solutions and their application within the organization • Manage and oversee accounting functions and systems • Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) within the organization • Ensure clear and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders • Regularly review and update about time systems and processes within the organization.
