Job Title: BuyerJob Description • Place purchase orders for direct & indirect materials while ensuring supplier commitments are met. • Manage assigned inventory within predefined Min/Max levels and countermeasure as needed. • Negotiate with suppliers to mitigate potential delivery issues before escalating to leadership. • Analyze supplier responses and make recommendations to the business when there are constraints. • Closely monitor supplier OTD and escalate as needed. • Escalate EOL/LTB decisions and associated supplier negotiations (e.g., pricing, lead-time). • Collaborate with A/P team members to promptly reconcile PO/invoice discrepancies. • Work with MRB team to process RTV’s in a timely fashion. • Respond to and update ECR’s and ECO’s as needed. • Work with Suppliers and employees to return non-conforming material to suppliers (RMA Returns). • Identify potential supply chain risks and offer creative solutions. • Participate in Supplier Business Review meetings as needed.
