As our **Buyer** , you will perform purchasing functions and maintain daily business flow to support frontline and customer requirements. Process purchasing requirements, schedule and track deliveries, and maintain product & supplier documentation.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Review and process purchasing requisitions generated by MRP.
+ Prepare part load sheets and update product and pricing information records in SAP.
+ Create and send out requests for quotes to supply base.
+ Process and review quotes from suppliers and input information into SAP.
+ Process invoice discrepancies and work to answer accounts payable questions.
+ Prepare and conduct supplier reviews.
+ Cross train with team members to support and fill-in as need arises.
+ Expedite and prioritize deliveries per current requirements.
+ Track shipping information and maintain record of incoming shipments.
+ Additional duties as required by leadership.
**Specific Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors:**
1. SAP experience.
2. Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft products.
3. Strong interpersonal communication and team building skills.
4. Strong organizational skills, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Learning agility required for multiple processes and sources of information.
6. Working knowledge and ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
7. Experience in building out cost models and cost analysis reports.
8. Understand how to compile technical documentation and put together request for quotes.
You will bring 5+ years of strategic purchasing experience to our KONE family and an appetite for learning in an exciting new field. Bachelor's degree (BA) from a 4-year college/university or BSEET degree OR Purchasing Management Association (APP/CPM) certificate.

**Annual Base Pay Range:**
**In a single location:**
The hiring range for this role is $67,000 – $92,000. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
