Responsibilities:
Manage assigned complex commodities by executing MRP action messages in a timely manner. ... Prepare and distribute RFQs and manage the award to qualified, responsible, and responsive sources of supply.
Establish source selection criteria for evaluation of quotations and negotiate best terms (price, delivery, terms of sale) in accordance with company objectives, policies, and procedures.
Implement formal and legal contractual documentation into purchase orders, ensuring compliance with corporate and government requirements.
Monitor and manage supplier performance to contract, including On-Time Delivery and Non-conforming goods.
Monitor, report, and manage metrics such as spend analysis, inventory turns, PPV, etc. for assigned commodities.
Continually assess market conditions to identify, recommend, and implement supply chain management strategies.
Lead initiatives in cost reduction, quality improvement, and lead time reductions.
Collaborate and support other departments needing supply chain support, such as Quality, Engineering, and Accounting.
Maintain current and accurate purchase order data in the purchasing system.
Ensure compliance with government laws, regulations, and procurement policies and procedures.
Identify problem areas, initiate corrective action, and establish problem resolution dates in a timely manner.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
