By-Products Trader
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The By-Products Trader is responsible for domestic and international trade of animal and vegetable by-products to create additional value for JBS. This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of global vendors and customers to create the supply channels required to increase volume and margin Develop international market access in conjunction with JBS’ international officesResearch and analyze globally traded markets for economic impacts to our businessesEnsure the Company's financial interests are protected with active risk managementCollaborate with logistics & finance teams to efficiently execute trades and manage P&LAttend industry conferences to represent the Company and advance relationshipsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field, or equivalent career experiencePrevious commodity trading experience strongly preferredPrevious agricultural or biofuel trading experience highly desiredKnowledge of shipping and logistics – both domestic and internationalEffective communication to all levels of a global companyMicrosoft Office applications, including: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $95,000-$145,000; andIncentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
