Developer role within QA Automation. This position is responsible for developing automation scripts within the Waitin tool using the .net or c# programming language. Automation scripts will be created for web-based, client server, and desktop applications.
EXPERIENCE Required:
* The QA Engineer will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and at least 6 months of testing experience or equivalent and will require extensive mentoring and coaching.
* The QA Engineer will have 1 to 2 years experience of automated testing including independent development of basic scripts.
* Experience with complex script development and execution. Can work independently being able to complete all primary account accountabilities below and be able to serve as a coach / mentor to the lower level engineers.
* Experience automating multiple platforms.
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Attention to fine details
* Able to define the different test needs on multiple platforms
* Ability to multi-task effectively
Preferred:
* The senior QA Engineer will have at least 2 - 3 years experience with complex script development and execution. Can work independently being able to complete all primary account accountabilities below and be able to serve as a coach / mentor to the lower level engineers. The senior QA Engineer will hold or be qualified for certification.
* Experience automating multiple platforms.
* Experience with the TFS, VS 2008 or greater and plug-in experience using White, Watin, and NUnit .net web development exp. SQL Server stored procedure development Web service development .net 2.0 JavaScript, XML, AJAX Team Foundation Server Ability to contiribute to the development of automation processes, recommending development tools and platforms, producing technical documentation and diagrams and serving as a resource to the team developing the solution.
